This fall, Nashville Pumpkin Co. is opening a third lot at 530 Cool Springs Blvd in Franklin — and donating a portion of the proceeds from every sale there to the Cooper Trooper Foundation, the local nonprofit that built this patch over sixteen seasons.
What's happening
For sixteen autumns, the pumpkin patch on Cool Springs Boulevard has been a Franklin tradition and the Cooper Trooper Foundation's biggest fundraiser of the year.
Beginning in 2026, the foundation is stepping back from running it, and Nashville Pumpkin Co. is taking the lot on. Same corner, same season, same reason to bring the kids. What changes is who's stacking the pumpkins.
We'll bring what we bring to our lots in 12th South and East Nashville: a deep pile of Jacks, heirlooms in colors you didn't know pumpkins came in, gourds by the crate, and a wall of mums.
And we didn't want sixteen years of generosity to end with a change of hands. So we're carrying the giving forward under a name of its own.

That part mattered to us. This patch was built to do something, and buying a pumpkin in Franklin this October still means helping families facing childhood cancer — the same as it always has.
Who Cooper Trooper is
The Cooper Trooper Foundation is the recipient of our Pumpkins with a Purpose donation. You can also give to them directly, any time of year.

Courage Kits
Care packages sent to the brothers and sisters of children with cancer — the kids who often go unnoticed while the family's attention is elsewhere. Free to request, shipped anywhere in the country, ages 0 to 18.
Research endowment
An endowed fund at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, dedicated specifically to pediatric cancer research.
Why it matters
Only around four percent of the National Cancer Institute's federal budget goes to childhood cancer research — for the leading cause of death by disease among American children.

Not much, honestly — and that's the point. Come to the same lot at the same time of year, pick out your pumpkins, and know the giving continues. What's new is that you'll find our full selection there, and two more of our lots up the road in Nashville if you're ever on that side of town.
We know we're taking on something people care about. We'll treat it that way.
Pumpkins with a Purpose is a charitable giving program of Nashville Pumpkin Co. The pumpkin patch at 530 Cool Springs Blvd is operated solely by Nashville Pumpkin Co., which is responsible for the site and everything that happens there. The Cooper Trooper Foundation is the beneficiary of the donation and has no role in operating the location.
